Support The Young Artist In Your Home

October 14, 2012 by Dorothy Skinner Leave a Comment

Kids and young adults really have a knack for insightful observation and teaching us with art.

Right now, the biggest arts competition in the world is underway, and we want to make sure you’re aware of it.

Autumn leaf in a stream. Why does art matter to us?

Well, many reasons.

  1. Our entire family-run business is comprised of artists, so we appreciate it, and
  2. This art competition is focused on water conservation and how our watershed impacts us every day, which of course, it does!

If you or someone you know has a special artistic talent, and is a student between K-12th grades, get involved! Show us how you see our community’s relationship to water and maybe even share with us how we could be doing conservation better.

Learn more about this unique competition and all the rules and regulations when you follow this link:

River of Words

Even if you don’t place, we’d love to see the work! Share an image of your work with us on our Facebook page to bring attention to this important topic.
