Low Water Pressure a Sign of Trouble

August 16, 2013 by Dorothy Skinner 1 Comment

Danny Skinner on the job!Do you have low water pressure at your house or place of business?

A hole or crack in your water piping might be the cause. Since some of the water is leaking out you won’t get all the water needed at your faucet. The pipes that are below our slabs or below ground can’t be seen so the low water pressure is a clue that you may have a leak. Another clue is if you feel the floor beneath your feet is warmer in one area. That could signal a hot water leak beneath your slab.

With the weather as hot and dry as it has been here in our area the ground tends to crack and shift and causes much stress on these pipes. I am sure you have seen the huge water main breaks for city services in the news – well the same stresses occur with your plumbing systems underground.

If you are noticing reduced water pressure and do not see an apparent reason for it, give us a call at 972-424-6479 and have us do a leak test.

This don’t take long, is not expensive to do and if you do have a leak it can be located and repaired. The low water pressure is a hint that something is wrong. Don’t delay, call today.
