Sick of bleaching that nasty grout? There are a few things you can do about that, if your drywall isn’t damaged from the moisture.
- Use a soap scum remover on the tiles and surrounding areas.
- Take a utility knife and remove existing caulking and grout.
- If the drywall isn’t damaged, let everything dry overnight,
- Replace the grout and recaulk.
- Let everything dry again.
Once you’ve had enough of that, call us about installing a shower enclosure! They’re so much easier to clean, and they can look real nice, too.
Shower enclosures can usually be purchased in a standard sizing without any hassle. If you have an odd shaped or custom-sized shower and bath area, you may need to have your enclosure ordered specially.
Call Gary’s Quality Plumbing to find out if a shower enclosure is a good idea for your bathroom, 972-424-6479. Our plumbers will bring it, install it, and have your faucet, drain and showerhead replaced before you know it!

I totally agree get a shower enclosure. If I had a dollar for every leaky moldy tiled shower cubicle I came across I would be a rich man!
