Do You Have Low Water Pressure?

August 22, 2011 by Dorothy Skinner Leave a Comment

Yard leak repair. Many things can cause low water pressure:
  • A hole or crack in your water piping
  • Debris in the pipe or aerator
  • A new fixture with a low-flow restrictor
  • Inadequate or damaged service piping between the street and the home
Many times we cannot see the pipes that are below our slab or below ground, so low water pressure is a clue that you may have a leak. If some of your water supply is leaking you will not get all of the water needed from your faucet.
With the local weather as hot and dry as it has been the ground tends to crack and shift and causes much stress on our pipes. If you are noticing reduced water pressure and do not see an apparent reason for it you should call Gary’s Quality Plumbing at 972-424-6479. One of our licensed and qualified plumbers will perform a leak test. This is an inexpensive test and doesn’t take much time. If you do have a leak it will be located and we can repair it for you.
