I didn’t get to every blog in time for Earth Day 2012 but I wanted to leave a comment on your page anyways. In an effort to help educate children to care about their environment and to realize that they all play a part, starting from when they are very young, I created My Pal for Going Green. This boy or girl doll comes with a booklet that gives children information about “going green” resources and an opportunity to write their own story about their personal experiences and activities they participate in. The politicisation of global warming causes is not important since we should be teaching any child to be stewards of the earth for their own and friends enjoyment.

This post really makes you stop and think about it. It used to be very expensive to do all the ‘green’ recommendations you hear about. Now, if Habitat For Humanity uses green principles, I think that says a lot about the efforts made to bring the costs down.

I agree, it’s a good conversation.
